Money Management

One of the most important elements to any betting system is knowing when to stop. Locking in a profit or having a preset maximum loss limit will ensure you are always in control whilst knowing when to walk away with cash in your pocket.

With this at the forefront of your mind we have put together the following section on Money Management, make sure you fully understand it and put it into practice.

You can of course alter it to fit your own style of playing but by having a good money management system in place you will be playing and betting sensibly and will be able to lock in profit after profit.

Bankroll

Only you know how much you have in your bankroll, and this will vary from player to play but it should always be money you are prepared to lose, as we all know you cannot win all of the time!

Treat your bankroll like royalty, it will should be your best friend and treat it as such. Many players look at money in their pocket as something to throw around like confetti, however this sort of player will rarely walk away a winner.

Lock In a Profit

You should, before you even place your first wager, have in the forefront of your mind a preset figure that will be you profit goal for that session.

This should be set sensibly by yourself but typically somewhere between 30%-50% of your bankroll is a reasonable amount to aim for.

So if you have $100 available to gamble with then aim to win $30-$50. This may not sound much but by having this figure in your mind you will be amazed how often you do reach it and by walking away when you have won that amount you lock in a profit.

Lock In a Profit

As you know gambling in not an exact science, and there are times that no matter what you bet on you cannot win! So it is critical that you set yourself a loss limit.

This is a preset amount that you are prepared to lose on that session and once you reach it you should stop playing and walk away.

A sensible stop loss limit is 50% of your initial bankroll. So if you have $100 available to gamble with then should the cards or reels not be falling or spinning your way then stop playing once you lose $50.
